My research journey started at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria where I was mentored by Dr. Onigbinde. For my undergraduate thesis, I conducted an independent study of 150 Physical Therapists across southwest Nigeria to determine the usefulness of pharmacology in the clinical practice of physical therapy. The result showed that knowledge of pharmacology and drug dosage, as well as the skill of topical drug application, was relevant in improving clinical outcomes in the treatment of conditions amenable to physiotherapy in Southwest Nigeria. My work was published both as a journal and a textbook.
